The Employment Navigator is responsible for promoting employment and education as a long-term self-sufficiency strategy for residents of Facing Forward’s housing programs. This position operates under an employment navigator model, assisting residents in accessing employment supports in the broader community, and building residents’ skills and motivation to increase their chances of success. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, with some evenings and weekends required.

The Skilled Assessor conducts Housing Assessments with individuals and families experiencing homelessness to facilitate their referral to housing resources through the Coordinated Entry System (CES). Using a trauma-informed approach a successful candidate conducts interviews with those who are currently homeless and must be able to sensitively ask questions related to homelessness, health conditions, and traumatic experiences. The Skilled Assessor is a mobile position which meets with people experiencing homelessness in shelters and other service locations. This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule which may include early mornings, weekends, and evenings. A vehicle is required.

The Sr. Finance Director is responsible for the development of a financial and operational strategy with metrics tied to that strategy. They develop and monitor control systems designed to preserve Facing Forward assets. They are responsible for reporting accurate financial results, monitoring the day-to-day operations of a seven-person finance department, and overseeing the creation of the budget. The Finance Director reports to the Deputy Director, oversees the Finance Department, and works closely with the Finance Committee, Board of Directors, Executive Team, and staff organization wide.

Working under the supervision of the Finance Director, the Finance Manager is responsible for all finance, accounting, and investment activities of Facing Forward. They will lead all financial administration and financial reporting. They will design and manage effective, streamlined systems with financial impact including finance, accounting, tax, and legal compliance. The Finance Manager will implement and monitor internal processes and controls to ensure effective financial management of Facing Forward. The Finance Manager has oversight responsibility for the day-to-day monetary operations and maintenance of Facing Forward’s financial record. This oversight includes incoming and outgoing payments, cash and treasury management, accounting, financial reporting and other tasks related to Facing Forward’s finances.

The Staff Accountant performs financial transactions and administrative tasks. These functions include maintaining accounting and financial records, preparing bills, processing cash receipts, processing payroll, and delivering high-quality customer service. This position reports to the Senior Accountant and is expected to work extensively with other staff in the Finance Department and staff organization-wide.
